The Abu Dhabi-based real estate development company Emaar Properties/Eagle Hills on Monday committed to a massive investment of $5.7 billion to develop two landmark projects in Georgia.

Key projects include Krtsanisi Park in Tbilisi and Gonio Marina in Batumi.

A riverside mixed-use development covering 590 hectares. The project will include residences and retail spaces, contributing to Tbilisi’s urban and economic growth.

A beachfront and marina development spanning 260 hectares. The project will feature branded residences, hotels, retail parks, and public park spaces, aimed at enhancing Batumi's appeal as a tourist and investment destination.

Mohamed Alabbar, Chair of Eagle Hills, described Georgia as a country with “immense promise and potential”.

The projects are expected to transform Tbilisi and Batumi, creating new opportunities for tourism, business, and community development.

A memorandum of cooperation between the company and the Georgian side was signed Monday in Abu Dhabi during the visit of the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.

The agreement, representing the largest investment in Georgia's history, involves the development of two major real estate investment projects in the country.

This investment is part of Eagle Hills’ broader expansion strategy in Eastern Europe, following projects in Hungary and Serbia.
