Bidzina Ivanishvili, the founder and Honorary Chair of the ruling Georgian Dream party, on Saturday commented on the exit poll results, assuring supporters that in the next four years, the ruling party would accomplish a great deal, positioning Georgia among the most successful nations.

In his remarks, Ivanishvili emphasized that the ruling team would value the trust of the voters.

“It is rare worldwide for the same party to achieve such results for 12 years in such challenging circumstances”, Ivanishvili said.

He further extended his gratitude to voters and predicted that Georgia would become a leading country within four years.

“I assure our voters that, while there are wealthier nations with longer-established democracies, our society is no less capable. It is essential for us to understand who to trust and where to lead the country. I guarantee that in the next four years, we will accomplish a lot, and Georgia will be ranked among the most successful countries. Our team will undoubtedly value this trust. I believe our team represents the best part of our society”, Ivanishvili concluded.

An exit poll by the Tbilisi-based Georgian Opinion Research Business International, commissioned by Imedi TV, on Saturday indicated that the ruling Georgian Dream party received 56.1% of votes as of 6:30 PM, with a margin of error of ±2.5%.
