Georgian PM highlights strengthening partnership with Kazakhstan as foreign policy priority

Political cooperation between Georgia and Kazakhstan is of great importance, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said during his meeting with the Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
Kobakhidze emphasised that strengthening the partnership with Kazakhstan remained one of the key foreign policy priorities of his Government.
“Mr. President, it is a great honour for me to visit Kazakhstan. I sincerely appreciate your hospitality. This is one of my first visits following the parliamentary elections, which underscores our special interest in strengthening cooperation, partnership, and friendship between our nations. This friendship is built on strong historical and traditional foundations”, the PM said.
“Enhancing this partnership is a priority of Georgia’s foreign policy. Political cooperation between our countries is highly significant for us. I extend my gratitude to you personally and to Kazakhstan for supporting our sovereignty and territorial integrity. Further deepening our political ties through various formats is also essential. We would be delighted to welcome you to our country”, Kobakhidze concluded.
