Georgian, Kazakh PMs discuss successful cooperation

Successful cooperation between Georgia and Kazakhstan across various sectors was discussed on Wednesday in a meeting between the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, who is on an official visit to Kazakhstan, and his Kazakh counterpart Oljas Bektenov.
The meeting focused on the positive dynamics of the development of trade and economic ties as well as the role of the Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation of the two countries.
The officials positively assessed the bilateral trade turnover, which increased by 25 percent in 2024 compared to the same period last year.
The meeting also discussed the potential for increasing export volumes and highlighted the importance of fully utilising existing opportunities in this regard.
The Government head invited his counterpart to pay an official visit to Georgia.
