Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Tuesday addressed an open letter to the United States President Donald Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance, stressing that the Georgian Government continued to express optimism that the United States administration would indeed succeed in defeating the deep state.
In an open letter, Kobakhidze noted that defeating the deep state would undoubtedly lead to a reset in US-Georgia relations and the restoration of strategic partnership.
“Our Government continues to express optimism that your administration will indeed succeed in defeating the deep state - a development that would undoubtedly lead to a reset in US-Georgia relations and the restoration of our strategic partnership”, the PM said.
“In fact, we are truly hopeful that this will be the case. Otherwise, the revolutionary scenario planned under the Biden administration will continue to unfold. Let us remind you that around 250 individuals - trained and funded by USAID and NED - still gather daily on the central avenue of our capital, which is undeniable evidence that the Deep State has not yet shelved its plans for revolution”, he continued.
Kobakhidze further added that despite the growing number of unanswered questions, the Georgian Government was patiently awaiting that moment of defeating the deep state and wished the US administration success in this struggle.
“As already mentioned, despite the growing number of unanswered questions, we continue to remain optimistic and hopeful that your confrontation with the Deep State is sincere and will ultimately lead to its defeat. The Government of Georgia is patiently awaiting that moment - one that should lay the foundation for a reset in US-Georgia relations and the restoration of strategic partnership between our two countries. We wish you success in this struggle! And we wish the United States of America strength and prosperity!” he concluded.
