Spanish National Police delegation visits Georgian Interior Ministry to discuss strengthening cooperation

A delegation of the Spanish National Police, headed by General Commissioner Luis Fernando Pascual Grasa, paid a working visit to the Georgian Interior Ministry to discuss strengthening bilateral law enforcement cooperation.
The Director of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Georgian Interior Ministry Davit Kiknadze, together with his deputies, held a working meeting with the visiting Spanish delegation.
During the meeting, the parties discussed priority areas of cooperation and outlined future plans for joint action.
The Georgian side briefed their Spanish counterparts on measures implemented, and ongoing initiatives aimed at combating organised crime, including drug-related offences.
Special attention was paid to the importance of international cooperation in this field - both in bilateral and multilateral formats.
Both sides emphasised the value of close partnership between Georgian and Spanish law enforcement agencies and expressed readiness to further deepen cooperation.
