Georgian FM, Belgian Ambassador discuss prospects for strengthening friendly relations

Prospects of strengthening friendly ties between Georgia and Belgium were discussed on Thursday in a meeting between the Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili and Julien de Fraipont, the newly appointed Ambassador of Belgium to Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkmenistan.
The two sides also addressed Georgia-EU relations and future development opportunities, the Georgian foreign office said.
The meeting focused on the security environment in Europe and the wider region, as well as the challenges associated with it.
Ongoing developments in Georgia were also among the topics discussed during the meeting.
Botchorishvili wished the Ambassador success in his diplomatic mission and expressed readiness for further cooperation.
