Georgian Dream Party holds congress, new Chair to be announced

The ruling Georgian Dream party will hold its ninth congress on Wednesday.
A key item on the agenda is the announcement of the party's new Chair.
Delegates will also approve the updated composition of the political council of the party.
In accordance with the party charter, Bidzina Ivanishvili, the Honorary Chair of the Georgian Dream, will present the agreed-upon candidate for the chairmanship to the delegates.
The party also stated that steps related to the upcoming local self-government elections will be planned during the congress.
