14 parties registered for October 4 municipal elections

The registration process for political parties participating in the October 4 local elections has concluded.

According to the Central Election Commission of Georgia, the election administration reviewed all submitted applications and accompanying documentation.

As a result, 14 parties have been officially registered and granted the right to participate in the elections. A total of 17 parties applied for registration, but three were rejected for failing to meet the legal requirements.

The next stage for registered political parties involves submitting their party lists, majoritarian candidates, and mayoral nominees to the relevant election commissions by no later than September 4.

This will be followed by a review and verification process before final registration is granted.

The list of parties registered for the October 4 elections, by ballot number, is as follows:
