The summit kicked off with a plenary session opened by prime minister Pashinyan and the president of the European Council Antonio Costa. Following the session, participating leaders gathered for the traditional family photo.
Kobakhidze is scheduled to address European leaders today during a round-table discussion focused on strengthening connectivity and economic security.
In his remarks to the media, Kobakhidze emphasised that Georgia serves as a vital bridge between the East and the West. He noted that the summit provides an essential platform to highlight Georgia's strategic importance to Europe’s economic landscape.
“We connect seven countries to the Black Sea and, consequently, to the West in terms of economy and trade. Naturally, we will discuss this actively. Georgia holds immense significance for Europe regarding connectivity”, the PM noted.
