Georgian PM: artificial attempts to spark revolution have failed and will continue to fail

Every attempt to artificially stage a revolution in Georgia has ended in failure, and the same will happen in the future, said on Monday Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
In his remarks, Kobakhidze noted that several attempts were made to mislead the Georgian people, but none were successful.
“They have tried several times to mislead the Georgian people, but they have not succeeded even once. They managed to mislead a certain part of society - for example, when Georgia was not granted EU candidate status in June 2022. Then when they labeled the Transparency Law as the ‘Russian law’, not once but twice; later when they refused to recognise the 2024 parliamentary elections; and when they claimed that the European integration process, which they themselves had suspended, had been suspended by us. Most recently, they openly supported the attempted overthrow planned for October 4, 2025. At no point were they able to mislead the Georgian people, and the same will be true in the future”, he said.
“Therefore, they should, of course, reconsider their policies. However, the main problem is that they do not act independently but rather follow directives from external actors”, Kobakhidze concluded.
