Georgian Parliament approves new Government under Irakli Kobakhidze

Georgian Parliament on Thursday approved the country's new Government under Irakli Kobakhidze, with 84 votes in favour and 0 against.
Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze extended his gratitude to the Parliament and the parliamentary majority for a confidence vote.
As Kobakhidze noted, he presented a very ambitious programme, which was absolutely achievable.
“We have a very ambitious plan, an ambitious programme, which I presented to the Georgian Parliament and the public today. We will present our report to the public in four years, and it is our responsibility to faithfully fulfill each point of this programme. This programme reflects very ambitious goals, however, these goals are also absolutely achievable, and we are responsible for honestly presenting ourselves to the [Georgian] public in 4 years”, Kobahidze said.
