Georgian Parliament official: Georgia, US administrations fully aligned on core values

Mariam Lashkhi, the chair of the Georgian Parliament's education, science, and youth affairs Committee, on Tuesday said the main message of the visit of the Georgian parliamentary delegation to Washington as well as the very first meeting was that the current administrations of Georgia and the United States are fully aligned on the core values and principles.
In her remarks, Lashkhi noted that members of the Georgian delegation received important messages from a US senator during their meetings in Washington.
“The key message of our visit and first meeting is that the current administrations of Georgia and the United States are fully aligned on the core values and principles upon which our governance is based. We received key messages from the US senator, which are very important for resetting bilateral relations between our countries”, she said.
The Georgian parliamentary delegation is visiting the United States to participate in a conference organised on behalf of the Alliance of Sovereign States.
