Georgian PM, North Macedonian Assembly President discuss strengthening political dialogue and sectoral cooperation

The importance of further strengthening political dialogue and sectoral cooperation between Georgia and North Macedonia were discussed on Wednesday in a meeting between the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and Afrim Gashi, the President of Assembly of North Macedonia.
The meeting noted that Gashi’s visit to Georgia provided a valuable opportunity to exchange views on shared priorities and explore ways to further deepen bilateral cooperation.
The sides underscored the importance of further strengthening political dialogue and expanding sectoral cooperation between Georgia and North Macedonia.
The meeting also highlighted the productive cooperation between the two countries’ legislative bodies and discussed prospects for further strengthening interparliamentary relations.
The talks also focused on Georgia’s role in the Black Sea region, particularly in promoting regional connectivity and dialogue.
