Georgian PM, UAE Minister of Tolerance discuss successful cooperation in various sectors

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, who is on an official visit to the United Arab Emirates, on Sunday met with UAE Minister of Tolerance Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan to discuss the successful cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
The officials emphasised the prospects for further strengthening trade, economic and investment ties, the Government Administration said.
The parties also highlighted Georgia's favorable investment environment, Government programs supporting businesses, projects aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of the private sector and the growing export potential,
The conversation also emphasised the importance of the Tbilisi Dry Port project, which was being implemented with investments from the Abu Dhabi Ports Group, as well as its role in the development of the Middle Corridor.
The parties also reviewed the successful conclusion of negotiations with the largest development company, EMAAR, which would result in significant investment projects in Georgia.
The meeting also focused on cooperation in the tourism sector between Georgia and the UAE, which had been significantly facilitated by the implementation of a visa-free travel.
Both sides confirmed their readiness to further deepen bilateral relations across various sectors.
