Georgian FM, OSCE PA President discuss cooperation

Existing cooperation between Georgia and the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly was discussed on Tuesday in a meeting between Georgian foreign minister Maka Botchorishvili and OSCE Parliamentary Assembly president Pere Joan Pons Sampietro.

Botchorishvili highlighted the challenges currently facing the country. The discussion also addressed the Russia-Georgia conflict and related issues.

The minister expressed gratitude to the president for the Assembly’s support in this regard.

The parties reviewed ongoing developments in Georgia, as well as the priorities of the country’s foreign and domestic policies.

The discussion also focused on the regional situation emphasising the importance of stability and security in this context.

In conclusion, the parties expressed their readiness to deepen cooperation and dialogue.
