Armenian PM: Georgia needs Armenia just as Armenia needs Georgia

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Thursday discussed Armenia’s efforts to strengthen ties with other countries, saying that Georgia needs Armenia just as Armenia needs Georgia.
Pashinyan recalled a statement made by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko in 2024, when Lukashenko claimed that no one except the members of the Eurasian Economic Union needed Armenia.
“Georgia very much needs Armenia. Armenia very much needs Georgia. Germany needs Armenia, as do France, Poland, and the United Kingdom”, he said.
Pashinyan added that Armenia has recently diversified its foreign relations, including by signing strategic partnership agreements with several countries.
