GORBI poll shows if parliamentary elections were held this week, Georgian Dream party would receive 60.4% of votes

A public opinion poll published on Wednesday by the Tbilisi-based Georgian Opinion Research Business International showed that if the parliamentary elections were held this week, the ruling Georgian Dream party would receive 60.4 percent of the votes.
Asked - “If parliamentary elections were held this week, which party would you vote for?” - the responses after allocation were distributed as follows:
- Georgian Dream - 60.4%
- United National Movement/Strategy Aghmashenebeli - 12.6%
- Lelo - 4.7%
- European Georgia - 4.5%
- For Georgia - 3.7%
- Girchi More Freedom/Droa - 3%
- Akhali - 1.6%
- New political centre Girchi - 1.4%
- Alliance of Georgian Patriots - 0.9%
- Citizens - 0.6%
- Labor Party - 0.6%
- Other and non-allocated - 6%
Note: the political party Akhali was officially established after the fieldwork had already started, therefore this party was not mentioned in the answers to the question. The results presented for this party are based on the responses given spontaneously by the respondents.
The poll, commissioned by Imedi TV, was conducted between March 11 and 18 and involved 1.711 respondents across the country, interviewed through face-to-face interview method, of which 68.4 percent, or 1.170 respondents are probable voters. The margin of error amounts to +/- 3 percent.
