Georgian FM, US State Department officials discuss bilateral cooperation, regional connectivity

Georgian Vice Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili on Wednesday held a meeting with United States Department of State representatives Charles Yockey and Peter Andreoli, focusing on bilateral relations and Georgia’s role in regional transport and connectivity.
The sides discussed the current state of bilateral relations between Georgia and the United States and explored opportunities for expanding cooperation in the future.
Particular attention was devoted to the Middle Corridor and to Georgia’s role as a regional connector and transportation hub.
The United States’ steadfast support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity was highlighted during the meeting.
Both delegations expressed readiness to further strengthen cooperation across multiple sectors.
