Georgia crushes Armenia 9-1 on aggregate, stays in League B of Nations League

The Georgian national football team on Sunday delivered a decisive victory, defeating Armenia 6-1 in the second leg of their UEFA Nations League playoff match. The game took place in Tbilisi.
The scoring began early, with Armenian defender Varazdat Haroyan scoring an own goal in the 4th minute.
Georgia's Giorgi Mikautadze scored twice (14th and 35th minutes), followed by goals from Giorgi Chakvetadze (23rd minute), Otar Kiteishvili (27th minute), and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (63rd minute). Armenia's lone goal was scored by Edgar Sevikyan in the 48th minute.
This victory followed Georgia's 3-0 win in the first leg, which was played in Yerevan on March 20.
As a result of these matches, Georgia retains its place in League B of the UEFA Nations League, while Armenia will continue to compete in League C.
In the previous season of the UEFA Nations League, the Georgian national team finished third in Group 1 of League B, and the Armenian team finished second in Group 4 of League C.
