Police arrest 4 drug dealers

The Georgian Interior Ministry’s Central Criminal Police Department on Tuesday arrested 4 individuals on drug-related charges as a result of various operational and investigative actions conducted over time.

The charges carry potential sentences of up to 17 years or life imprisonment.

Based on the court orders, the police carried out controlled purchases from the suspects, recording these transactions through secret audio and video equipment.

Law enforcement seized the narcotic substances buprenorphine, alpha-PVP, and dried marijuana as evidence.

The investigation is ongoing under Articles 260, 260 tertia, and 273 prime of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which pertain to the illegal acquisition and possession of narcotic drugs, as well as offenses related to the distribution and repeated drug-related crimes.
