Georgian Justice Minister, Chinese Cyberspace Administration Director discuss deepening bilateral cooperation in digital realm

Georgian justice minister Paata Salia on Tuesday held a high-level meeting with Zhuang Rongwen, the director of the cyberspace administration of China, to discuss deepening bilateral cooperation in the digital realm.
During the session, it was emphasised that the ministry of justice of Georgia stands as one of the nation's largest providers of both public and private sector services. Consequently, strengthening ties with China’s cyberspace administration is expected to significantly enhance the potential of both countries in cybersecurity and technological innovation.
Salia introduced his Chinese counterpart to Georgia’s strategic principles for raising cybersecurity awareness.
The meeting also discussed the use of artificial intelligence, the implementation of mobile applications and digital identity projects.
Salia invited the Chinese delegation to the United Nations Public Service Forum, which will be hosted by Tbilisi on June 23-25 this year.
