Tbilisi mayor Kakha Kaladze on Monday said that the preservation of peace in Georgia is the key factor behind the implementation of large-scale investment projects in the country.
Speaking with journalists regarding the planned construction of the 70-story Trump Tower Tbilisi, Kaladze expressed his gratitude to the companies interested in the project and highlighted the link between government policy and economic growth.
In his remarks, Kaladze stressed that the Georgian Dream party’s policy has ensured a secure environment that appeals to international markets.
“The most important thing is that through the policy implemented by the Georgian Dream, we have peace in the country. Consequently, peace brings investments, and peace enables the realization of projects of this magnitude”, Kaladze noted.
He expressed gratitude to all companies involved in the project, saying it demonstrates once again that Georgia is an attractive country in terms of investment, taxation, and other key factors.
“We, through our policies, will of course do everything to support business, further develop the country, achieve economic progress, and ensure that the population feels improved well-being”, the mayor said.
Kaladze also noted that detailed information about the project will be provided once a formal proposal is submitted
