Georgian Parliament Speaker: China and Georgia share many things regarding peaceful development of countries and peaceful policy in international politics

Georgia and China share many commonalities in terms of peaceful development and a peaceful approach to international politics, said Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili in an interview with China’s CGTN.
Responding to a question about the shared values between the two countries and the goal of strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation, Papuashvili highlighted that these common principles were a key factor in bringing Georgia closer to China and remain the basis for further partnership development.
“I think both countries, China and Georgia, share many things which are regarding the peaceful development of the countries and peaceful policy in international politics. So these shared values, they are also the common interest in our cooperation, is what led us to China, and the goal is also to enhance the partnership and cooperation between two parliaments”, the Speaker noted.
