Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić on Tuesday praised Georgia’s achievements and the country’s development efforts, saying that only a few countries in Europe have managed to achieve similar results.
Speaking at a joint briefing with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Vučić thanked the Georgian side for the warm hospitality and highlighted Georgia’s tourism potential and economic progress.
“It was amazing for me to discover that, in addition to wine tourism, you also have ski tourism. This was new information for me. Your ski infrastructure is comparable to European infrastructure. Many people love coming to Georgia, and many people love Georgia for numerous reasons”, Vučić said.
The Serbian President wished Georgia further success and praised the country’s efforts.
“Once again, I would like to wish Georgia great success in the future. The effort you are making is truly impressive. Your efforts are significant, and only a few countries in Europe have managed to achieve the kind of results you have achieved, whether it is the share of GDP or other indicators. This is something to be very proud of”, he said.
Vučić wished his own country similar success across various sectors.
“I would like my country to achieve such success in all areas as well. Thank you very much for such a warm welcome, and I hope that when you visit us, we will make you feel at home too. I am leaving Tbilisi with very great memories. Thank you for your friendship and for such relations between our nations”, the President concluded.
