Georgian PM meets Singaporean President, reaffirming longstanding friendship between countries

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Wednesday said he was honoured to meet Singaporean President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, adding that the two sides had once again reaffirmed the longstanding friendship between Georgia and Singapore.
In a social media message, Kobakhidze noted that the meeting focused on opportunities to deepen economic and investment ties, strengthen cooperation in the financial sector, develop tourism, and enhance partnership in areas of mutual interest.
“It was an honour to meet Singaporean President Tharman Shanmugaratnam. We once again reaffirmed the longstanding friendship between Georgia and Singapore. We discussed opportunities to deepen economic and investment ties, strengthen cooperation in the financial sector, develop tourism, and enhance our partnership in areas of mutual interest”, the Prime Minister said.
