Ruling Georgian Dream party publishes text of domestic bill on transparency

The ruling Georgian Dream party on Friday published the text of the domestic bill on the transparency of foreign influence.

"In recent days, the focus has completely shifted to the [protest] rallies, and everyone has forgotten the main topic, which concerns the transparency law itself. To date, not a single opponent has been able to present an argument as to why the bill, or at least one of its clauses, can be 'Russian' or bad. Also, what is wrong with non-governmental organisations and media organisations filling the [financial] disclosure statement. Therefore, in order not to forget the main topic, we publish the text of the bill. We encourage everyone to read it and draw appropriate conclusions", the statement of the party said.
