Georgian, Armenian Foreign Ministers discuss bilateral, regional cooperation

Within the framework of the 15th session of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Georgia and Armenia, Georgian foreign minister Maka Botchorishvili met with her Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan.
The parties emphasised the importance of holding the regular session of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the two countries.
Bilateral and regional cooperation issues between Georgia and Armenia were discussed. In this context, the sides noted that regional stability, security, and sustainable development represent a common interest.
The Georgian foreign minister reaffirmed Georgia’s readiness to make an active contribution to strengthening peace and stability in the region.
