Georgian parliamentary delegation discusses Georgia-EU relations in Luxembourg

As part of an official visit to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Nikoloz Samkharadze, the Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee and Levan Makhashvili, the Chair of the European Integration Committee, participated in an expanded-format meeting at the Chamber of Deputies of Luxembourg.
The meeting was hosted by Gusty Graas, the Chair of the Foreign and European Affairs Committee, and Marc Hansen, the Chair of the Defence Committee. Members of several parliamentary committees from Luxembourg also joined the discussions.
The parties reviewed the development of Georgia–EU relations in recent years and exchanged views on future cooperation.
Both sides highlighted the importance of restoring momentum to bilateral relations and expressed readiness to continue efforts aimed at strengthening engagement.
The discussions also covered security challenges in the region, including the situation in Georgia’s Russian-occupied territories.
The officials exchanged views on political, economic, and security developments in Georgia and across the wider Black Sea region.
In addition, the parties reviewed various aspects of bilateral relations between Georgia and Luxembourg.
