Georgian Economy Minister holds farewell meeting with Chinese Ambassador to Georgia

Georgian Economy Minister Mariam Kvrivishvili on Tuesday held a farewell meeting with Zhou Qian, the Chinese Ambassador to Georgia, highlighting the strategic partnership between Georgia and China and its positive impact on trade, investment, and tourism cooperation.
During the meeting, the sides discussed in detail the broad spectrum of economic relations between Georgia and China and emphasised the strategic partnership between the two countries, which has provided new momentum for further deepening trade, economic, investment, and tourism cooperation.
Within the framework of the meeting, Zhou invited Kvrivishvili to attend the World Artificial Intelligence Conference, which is planned to be held in Shanghai.
The Minister thanked the Ambassador for the invitation and noted that innovation and digital transformation across various sectors of the economy represent one of the priority directions of the Georgian government.
At the farewell meeting, Kvrivishvili also thanked Zhou for his productive work during his diplomatic tenure and wished him success in his future activities.
She highlighted his contribution to strengthening bilateral ties and advancing the strategic partnership between Georgia and China.
