Outgoing Chinese Ambassador thanks Georgia’s Economy Ministry for backing bilateral cooperation

Zhou Qian, the outgoing Chinese Ambassador to Georgia, on Wednesday thanked Economy Minister Mariam Kvrivishvili and the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development for their strong support of China-Georgia cooperation and expressed confidence that the two countries would continue expanding cooperation on the basis of mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.

The remarks came during a farewell meeting held on Tuesday with Kvrivishvili upon the completion of the ambassador's diplomatic mission.

“I would like to thank Mariam Kvrivishvili and the Ministry of Economy for their strong support of China-Georgia cooperation. I am confident that our two countries will continue expanding cooperation on the basis of mutual benefit and win-win outcomes, while advancing the comprehensive strategic partnership to achieve even greater progress”, Zhou said.

Kvrivishvili praised Zhou's contribution to the development of Georgia-China relations and the promotion of economic and trade cooperation, particularly the establishment and deepening of the comprehensive strategic partnership.

"Georgia is ready to work together with China to achieve more tangible results in practical cooperation between our two countries, bringing greater benefits to both nations," Kvrivishvili said.
