Armenian PM: I want to thank PM Irakli Kobakhidze, he personally supports peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan

Armenian prime minister Nikol Pashinyan on Wednesday thanked his Georgian counterpart Irakli Kobakhidze for his support, noting that he was personally backing the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
In his remarks at a joint press briefing, Pashinyan highlighted the growing economic ties between Armenia and Azerbaijan, facilitated and promoted with Georgia’s assistance.
“Since this is the 15th session, it means that the relationship is developing. An important aspect of our agenda is to achieve even better economic results. It is important to note that today we discussed the bilateral economic, regional and international agenda, and we held discussions on various issues. We also identified where we have the greatest potential for developing cooperation”, he said.
“Once again, I would like to thank the Georgian prime minister Irakli Kobakhidze for supporting the peace process throughout this entire period. He personally supports the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan. I would like to thank the Georgian people for their support - the support that we feel and see. Today, Armenia and Azerbaijan are establishing economic relations and ties with the help and facilitation of Georgia. This is truly commendable news, and I sincerely thank you for this valuable contribution”, Pashinyan stated.
He further noted that the economic relationship between Georgia and Armenia was deepening and was based on an existing long-standing tradition
“It is no secret that for Armenian tourists, Georgia was, is and will be the most desirable destination for vacations and visits. The number of tourists from Georgia to Armenia is also increasing. We are pleased with this growing trend. This relationship is important, as it demonstrates that our active political friendship in the fields of culture, sports, economy, education and science is reflected in people-to-people relations”, Pashinyan concluded.
