Georgian Dream party: Georgia has so far avoided Ukrainian scenario through “great efforts, hardline struggle”, but fight for peace continues, and this fight must be followed through
The Political Council of the ruling Georgian Dream party on Wednesday released a statement assessing the latest political developments in the country and its engagement with the country’s Western partners.
“As it is known to the public, several states have imposed financial sanctions and visa restrictions on politicians elected by the Georgian people and high-ranking government officials. These decisions should once again be assessed as an anti-Georgian step, which undermines the trust of the Georgian public in Western institutions.
It should be noted that the deeper the roots of the Global War Party are in various countries, and the stronger the deep state metastases are in this or that country, which serves as the main instrument of informal influence for the Global War Party, the more anti-Georgian the attitude of the respective country towards the Georgian state and the Georgian people is.
Practically every specific politician and bureaucrat who is distinguished by anti-Georgian statements, be it a President, Prime Minister, parliamentarian, MEP, diplomat, or official, is a member of the deep state network, which acts not according to the interests of the American or European people, but under the guidance of the Global War Party.
The team of the US President-elect [Donald Trump] is making encouraging statements about the destruction of the deep state within American official bodies. President Trump stated before the elections that “either America will destroy the deep state, or the deep state will destroy America”. The fact is that over the past four years, it was indeed the deep state that had been destroying not only America but also many countries around the world. The deep state created severe economic problems for the European Union. The deep state plunged many countries into the flames of war. The most severe impact of the deep state patrons was on our friendly country - Ukraine. Ukraine, which until 2014 enjoyed sovereignty, territorial integrity, peace, and a nearly 200 billion economy, is now practically destroyed, for which the authors of the Maidan take no responsibility.
Georgia has so far avoided the Ukrainian scenario through great efforts and hardline struggle, but the fight for peace continues, and this fight must be followed through. As long as there is the first front in Ukraine, there will always be the interest of the second front in Georgia. Related to this are the sanctions imposed by specific states on Georgian politicians and officials at the behest of the Global War Party and the Deep State. The Georgian people must fight to the end to survive and prevent the Ukrainisation of Georgia. By doing this, we will also be doing a good service to Europe, most of whose countries today are playing the game of the deep state and are unable to protect their national interests.
The current value-based condition of the European Union's bureaucracy is extremely severe, which is most clearly reflected in the five resolutions adopted by the European Parliament regarding Georgia. Through these resolutions, the European Parliament demanded the punishment of Bidzina Ivanishvili [the founder and Honorary Chair of the ruling Georgian Dream party], the release of [imprisoned former President] Mikheil Saakashvili and other criminals, the repeal of the law against LGBT propaganda, and so on. In the most recent resolution, the European Parliament demanded something that, prior to this, no serious player had dared to publicly demand - the imposition of sanctions on Russia and the collapse of the Georgian economy. Given this trend, the European Parliament will most likely openly demand that we start a war with Russia in its sixth resolution.
It doesn't require much proof to show that the formal basis for the sanctions imposed by specific countries is completely frivolous. Bidzina Ivanishvili has been sanctioned for replacing bloody authoritarianism with democratic governance in Georgia, ending systemic practices of torture, murder, business racketeering, media takeover, and election fraud. He increased the country's economy from 28 billion to 90 billion and brought 12 years of continuous peace to Georgia.
Vakhtang Gomelauri and the heroic police officers, including those who fought in the 2008 war [against Russia], have been sanctioned for effectively thwarting three violent coup attempts over the last two years. Moreover, this was done in such a way that not only were there no casualties, but no harm was caused to even a single person's health.
In contrast, we all remember the May 26 and June 20 special operations of the Global War Party and the deep state's favorites, [Vano] Merabishvili and [Giorgi] Gakharia [former Interior Ministers of Georgia], which in one case resulted in the killing of four persons and in the other case left seven persons with severe injuries. It should be noted that no one thought of sanctioning either Merabishvili or Gakharia, because the deep state was guided by Roosevelt’s famous saying - “he may be a son of a bitch, but he's our son of a bitch”. It is logical that those who protect such “sons of bitches” sanction heroic police officers.
We all remember that the dictator Saakashvili, who sparked the 2008 war with Russia, was hailed as a hero and a beacon of democracy by the deep state. It is logical that the Global War Party praises the war agent. Continuing this logic, the deep state sanctions Bidzina Ivanishvili for peace. The Georgian public clearly understands all of this, which is why the deep state’s sanctions have lost all power in Georgia.
It is noteworthy that sanctions against Georgia were first imposed by the Ukrainian Government, whose top officials openly called on Georgia’s Government to open a second front [in the country]. This was followed by sanctions from the Baltic states, which had virtually lost their sovereignty and were acting entirely under the guidance of the deep state.
What was once a demand and threat behind closed doors has now become public. “Either you go to war, or we punish you” - this is the simple message that Georgia and the Georgian people receive from the Global War Party. Moreover, through the opposition, they have started talking about punishing the Georgian people, which is a clear sign that the hardline stance of the Georgian people, who prevented the return of the collective United National Movement opposition [the agent network of the Global War Party] to power and the involvement of Georgia into the war, irritates the Global War Party more than the Government itself.
Ultimately, no sanctions can intimidate the Georgian people, because the public clearly understands that no sanctions can be compared to the devastation of the country. Therefore, no one can force the Georgian Government to sacrifice the country for a devastating war at the cost of any sanctions. The Georgian people will not allow the Ukrainisation of Georgia at the cost of any sanctions.
The Global War Party only manages to manipulate the opinion of a minority. The minority supporting the collective United National Movement opposition today is pitted against the national interests of their own country, just as it has been done in many other countries. Supporters of the local war party [the collective United National Movement opposition] know that the truth is not on their side, and that is why they refuse to engage in any public discussions offered by the Government. Unfortunately, these people’s servile attitude prevents them from critically assessing the steps of American or European bureaucracy.
Under the influence of the Global War Party, the Orwellian principle operates in the modern world – “War is peace, slavery is freedom, and ignorance is strength”. War, slavery, ignorance, and the perversion of everything are the primary tools with which the Global War Party informally controls much of the modern world.
For the second consecutive time, they have refused to recognise the OSCE/ODIHR’s conclusions on the parliamentary elections, despite previously insisting on inviting the OSCE/ODIHR observation mission to Georgia. Moreover, the opposition and its patrons, enraged by this report, have done everything they can to prevent the OSCE delegation from visiting Georgia.
American Congressman Joe Wilson was asked to initiate the so-called MEGOBARI act over Georgia, which, given its content, can only be called the Enemy Act. Wilson acted based on the principle of combining “business with pleasure”, receiving financial benefits from [David] Kezerashvili [the wanted former Minister of Defence of Georgia] - the robber of European pensioners- alongside with the fulfillment of the tasks given by the deep state. The money taken away from dozens of European pensioners is spent on one American pensioner - Joe Wilson, thus the deep state fulfills its political task and blackmails Georgia with sanctions. Joe Wilson is one of the worst manifestations of the deep state - a degraded politician with zero political culture, who bluntly threatens to punish us if we do not go to war.
It should be noted that Joe Wilson, who presents himself as a conservative politician, has never condemned the decision of Antony Blinken [the US Secretary of State] decision to ban referring to a man as a man and a woman as a woman, which was unanimously rejected by President Trump's team. Therefore, it is not surprising that Wilson faithfully continues Blinken’s line in punishing Georgia.
President Trump's successful completion of the task of dismantling the deep state could provide a qualitative reboot of Georgian-American relations, which, we believe, is equally in the interests of both Georgia and the United States.
It will take a relatively longer time to eliminate the metastases of the deep state in Europe. As the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán noted “Soros lost Washington with the re-election of President Trump, but Brussels is still in his hands”. Naturally, we do not mean a specific person under Soros, but the oligarchic network behind the deep state.
Eliminating the European metastases of the deep state is a necessary condition for rebooting Georgia-European Union relations. The result of the activity of these metastases is not only the current anti-Georgian policy of the European Union bureaucracy, but also the harsh LGBT propaganda and migration policy, which are consistently making European Union countries lose their identity and thus directly threatening our country.
We hope that the European Union will completely overcome the problem of informal oligarchic influence and the deep state by 2030, which will create the appropriate conditions for Georgia’s accession to the European Union. In addition, Georgia should not only passively wait for changes in the European Union, but should also actively contribute to overcoming the problems facing the European Union.
Only with peace, dignity and prosperity towards Europe - this is a motto that should become a key principle of coexistence not only for Georgia, but for every EU member state until 2030”, the statement said.
