Georgia’s Economy Minister heads to Beijing for high-level talks with Chinese officials

Mariam Kvrivishvili, the minister of economy and sustainable development of Georgia, on Wednesday departed for Beijing together with an official delegation, where she will hold important meetings with representatives of the Chinese government and executives of major companies.

As part of her visit, Kvrivishvili is scheduled to meet with China’s minister of commerce Wang Wentao and deputy chair of the national development and reform commission Zhou Haibing.

The program also includes the signing of a protocol amending the free trade agreement between Georgia and China.
