Georgia and US advance cybersecurity cooperation following high-level meetings with CISA

A delegation from the Operational-Technical Agency of Georgia’s State Security Service, led by the Agency’s Head Beka Mamardashvili, paid an official visit to the United States.
As part of the visit, members of the delegation held meetings with representatives of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). During the discussions, the parties reviewed mechanisms for exchanging information on cyber incidents between the two agencies and explored issues related to coordinated response efforts when necessary.
The talks also focused on prospects for strengthening bilateral cooperation through the implementation of joint initiatives and projects aimed at enhancing cyber resilience.
CISA’s primary mission is to protect the United States’ critical infrastructure from cyber threats and cyber incidents, while coordinating information-sharing processes at both the national and international levels.
