Georgian PM, Italian Deputy FM discuss deepening bilateral relations, EU integration

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Tuesday held a meeting with Edmondo Cirielli, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy. Both sides reaffirmed friendly relations and discussed expanding cooperation in political, economic, and European integration areas.
The meeting highlighted the positive dynamics in bilateral relations based on shared European values and interests.
The officials discussed opportunities for expanding cooperation and addressed Georgia’s European integration process.

Kobakhidze stressed that Georgian authorities were ready to restore and advance relations with the European Union on the basis of mutual respect and equality.
“We discussed bilateral relations and explored opportunities to further deepen political and economic cooperation between Georgia and Italy”, Kobakhidze said in a social media message.
