Georgian, Singaporean FMs discuss bilateral relations, prospects for strengthening partnership

As part of the visit to Singapore, Georgian Vice Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili on Thursday met with her Singaporean counterpart Sim Ann.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues related to bilateral relations between Georgia and Singapore, cooperation within international frameworks, and prospects for further strengthening their partnership.

Botchorishvili highlighted Georgia’s strategic location and the country’s important role in enhancing regional and global connectivity.

Particular attention was devoted to the importance of deepening cooperation between Georgia and Singapore in the fields of trade and economy. It was noted that both countries represent successful examples of sound economic policy, creating favorable opportunities for expanding business ties and investment cooperation.

The parties further discussed cooperation within international organisations.

The ministers agreed to continue their partnership on the current issues of the bilateral agenda.
