Tbilisi Police Chief congratulates police officers on professional day, highlights responsibility of service

Tbilisi Police Department Director Vazha Siradze on Sunday congratulated police officers on their professional holiday, describing police service as both a great honour and a significant responsibility.
In his address, Siradze noted that officers from various divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs serve around the clock to safeguard communities and uphold the law.
“Today is a very important day for every police officer. The daily work of a police officer in maintaining law and order and ensuring public safety requires tremendous effort, professionalism, and dedication”, he said.
“I would like to wish every police officer success and a safe return home to their families. Representatives of various units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs perform their duties around the clock, ensuring crime prevention, crime suppression, and the safety of every citizen”, Siradze continued.
He also acknowledged the role of the Interior Minister Sulkhan Tamazashvili, expressing gratitude for his support of law enforcement personnel and his contribution to the ministry’s work.
“Wearing the rank of a police officer is both a great honour and a great responsibility. I would like to thank every police officer for their service. I would also like to express my special gratitude to the Minister of Internal Affairs, General Sulkhan Tamazashvili, for his contributions and for the encouragement he has provided to every police officer. I wish him continued success and congratulate everyone on today’s occasion”, Siradze concluded.
