Irakli Kirtskhalia, the Chair of the ruling Georgian Dream party faction in the legislative body, on Monday responded to the recent resolution of the Council of Europe by saying that the Georgian public would not accept a conversation with directives and a commanding tone.
“We will not accept a conversation with directives and a commanding tone, and this is the order of our public, and this is exactly what our so-called friends and so-called partners are worried about. They really do not know the definition of the word partnership, they think partnership is directives and finger-wagging, they will definitely not succeed with our country and public”, Kirtskhalia said.
“We have heard many absurd directives from them, we have heard many directives that directly contradict our sovereignty and the security of our country. Those resolutions have the same value as those traitors who do not spare force against their country and demand destruction upon destruction, sanction upon sanction”, he concluded.
