Georgia’s ruling party Sec Gen: attitude of EU bureaucracy toward Georgia very good example of political terrorism

Kakha Kaladze, the Mayor of Tbilisi and Secretary General of the ruling Georgian Dream party, on Friday said that the attitude of “Eurocracy” toward the Georgian state represents “a very good example of political terrorism”.

Kaladze made the statement while speaking to the media, commenting on discussions held at a ministerial meeting in the United States regarding the escalation of political terrorism.

He noted that decisions made and the approach taken by European bureaucrats toward the Georgian state have contributed to declining public trust in them.

“How can we talk about trust in European bureaucrats when we hear statements of this kind and see decisions reflected in adopted resolutions that are based solely on lies and are filled with falsehoods? Clearly, the Georgian people see all of this very well, they assess and analyse it, and this attitude toward the Georgian state is absolutely unacceptable”, the Mayor said.

“Trust in European bureaucrats has, of course, decreased because of their own decisions, statements, and the unfair attitude they have demonstrated toward the Georgian state”, Kaladze continued.

He further added that the approach of European bureaucrats serves as a good example of how one should not treat another state.

“In order to explain to society what political terrorism is, the attitude of European bureaucracy toward the Georgian state is a very good example. This is an example of how one should not treat another country”, the Mayor said.

“We are an independent and sovereign state. Previous generations shed blood for this independence, and no one will be allowed to trample on the freedom, sovereignty, and independence of the country, regardless of whether they are European bureaucrats or representatives of any other country”, Kaladze continued.

He concluded by emphasising that everyone must respect Georgian statehood, sovereignty, and the will of the Georgian people.
