Georgian Vice Prime Minister: Georgia’s growing ties with Central Asia strengthen its independence and regional position

Georgia pays special attention to deepening relations with Central Asian countries, including Turkmenistan, with which up to 24 important documents and memorandums have been signed, said on Friday Mamuka Mdinaradze, Georgia’s Vice Prime Minister and State Minister for the Coordination of Law Enforcement Agencies.
In his remarks, Mdinaradze stressed the importance of cooperation across all fields, particularly in areas related to ensuring economic security, adding that such cooperation will continue.
“We believe that our recent engagement with Central Asian countries serves exactly this purpose and does so in every respect. It is no coincidence that I say this: these efforts are aimed at strengthening Georgia’s degree of independence and solidifying our position in the region”, Mdinaradze concluded.
