Georgian PM says rebooting relations with US “top priority”

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Friday highlighted rebooting relations with the United States as one of top priorities of his Government.
In his remarks, Kobakhidze noted that Georgia was seeking to renew its strategic partnership with the US “from a clean slate”, based on a specific roadmap.
“Rebooting relations with the United States is one of our top priorities, on which we have made numerous public statements. I myself have made such statements on many occasions”, the PM said.
“This is a very clear message. We are awaiting reciprocal steps and hope that such steps will indeed be taken”, he concluded.
