Georgia ranks 14th globally with mobile internet speed

Global Statistics on Thursday published the list of countries that would have the fastest mobile internet globally in 2026 on data from Speedtest.net.
Georgia ranks 14th in this indicator and is ahead of all EU countries except Bulgaria and Denmark.
Statistics showed that the Internet speed in Georgia was 169.82 megabits per second.
According to the data of December 2025, in terms of mobile Internet speed, Georgia is ahead of such countries as the Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy and Switzerland.
In the Speedtest ranking, the United Arab Emirates is in first place, Qatar is in 2nd place, and Kuwait is in third place.
