Georgian Prime Minister stresses importance of peace amid Middle East tensions

Georgian prime minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Thursday addressed the escalating tensions in the Middle East, emphasising that regional instability serves as a stark reminder of the vital importance of maintaining peace at home.
In his remarks, Kobakhidze underscored that the current geopolitical climate requires constant vigilance to ensure Georgia remains a pocket of stability.
“The events unfolding in the Middle East remind us of the great value of peace. Given the complex situation surrounding our country, it is naturally necessary to maintain continuous attention and caution to ensure that peace is firmly secured in Georgia. Peace is the foundation of our country’s development. Therefore, everything will continue to be done to preserve peace and stability, and to maximize efforts for our nation’s progress”, the PM said.
He also reaffirmed his government’s commitment to taking all necessary measures to maintain stability and promote the country’s growth in the future.
