Georgian film director Levan Koguashvili highlights Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s influence on Georgian football

Georgian film director Levan Koguashvili on Wednesday said Napoli’s Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia had brought football back to Georgia and made Georgians “fall in love” with football again.
In his interview with CalcioNapoli24 TV, Koguashvili stressed Kvaratskhelia’s influence on Georgian football and Georgian children.
"Khvicha already did a lot of very important things in Georgia, because now there are lots of kids going back to football schools. He made sports and football very popular in Georgia again and I think it’s already had a huge impact", Koguashvili said.
In response to the question whether he would make a film about Kvaratskhelia, he said:
Why not? I would still imagine him in Naples in this film. I don't know his career aspirations but it's better [for him] to stay in Naples.
Levan Koghuashvili’s film Brighton 4th was showcased on 30 screens across various cities in Italy, including in Naples.
