Georgian national football team will face Albania in UEFA Nations League match

Georgian national football team on Monday will face Albania at the Mikheil Meskhi Stadium in Tbilisi at 20:00 in the fourth round of the UEFA Nations League.

“After the match against Ukraine, we have a bit of a strange feeling, because it was a match in which we could win or take a point at least. We lacked a lot of things, and as for today’s match, it will be more important for me to start the game well and maintain concentration and aggressiveness for 90 minutes”, Willy Sagnol, the head coach of the Georgian national football team said.

Lasha Dvali, a Georgian national football team player, noted that the team regained its strength after the game against Ukraine.

“We have to play the second game in a short time. The opposing team is in the same situation. We recovered our strength as much as possible. I think we are ready for the game", Dvali said.

Giorgi Kochorashvili will miss the match due to the yellow card he received in a match against Ukraine.

After 3 rounds, Georgian national football team shares the lead in the group with Czechia with 6 points.
