PM says Georgian Dream will be fully mobilised for its 10th victory, marking another step towards stronger Georgia

Irakli Kobakhidze, the Georgian Prime Minister and the newly elected Chair of the ruling Georgian Dream party, on Wednesday said the party would be fully mobilised for its 10th consecutive victory, which “will mark another significant step” towards a stronger, more resilient, and more developed Georgia.
In his remarks, Kobakhidze noted that less than five months remained until Georgia’s local elections, adding that preparations were underway, and the election campaign would be officially launched in a few weeks.
He further emphasised that the Georgian Dream team aimed to win both the mayoral and city council elections in all 64 municipalities across the country to ensure uninterrupted development.
“With the support of the Georgian people, we will win the mayoral and city council elections in all 64 municipalities so that development does not stop for even a single day in any part of the country”, the PM said.
“Our goal is to fully protect the interests of every region of Georgia. We have clear national objectives: to further strengthen the democratic system and the rule of law, reinforce Georgia’s independence and security, grow the national economy, strengthen Georgia’s foreign policy standing, and achieve EU membership”, Kobakhidze concluded.
