Georgian PM highlights Gov’t’s goal to create environment where every police officer feels “secure, motivated, valued”

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Saturday expressed his appreciation for the country’s law enforcement officers during a ceremonial event marking Police Day.
In his address, Kobakhidze extended special gratitude to firefighters and rescuers, highlighting their sacrifices and dedication, particularly during recent natural disasters in western Georgia.
“This was the case this year as well, during the natural disaster in western Georgia, when firefighters and rescuers did their utmost to care for citizens. The Georgian Government constantly works to strengthen the Ministry of Internal Affairs, equip it with modern technologies, and improve the social conditions of its employees. Our goal is to create an environment where every police officer feels secure, motivated, and even more valued”, Kobakhidze said.
The PM also praised the professionalism and dedication of Georgian police officers and reaffirmed his confidence in their continued service.
“Together, we will build an even safer and more just state, where the rule of law and the well-being of citizens will be the paramount values. Along with our citizens, we are proud of you, proud of the Georgian police, and proud of every heroic police officer. I am confident that in the future, you will maintain the highest standards and continue to be a reliable pillar of our country’s safety and justice”, he noted.
Kobakhidze concluded his speech by congratulating all officers on Police Day and wishing them peace, health, and success in their vital work.
