Willy Sagnol, the head coach of the Georgian national football team, on Friday said the national football team players had proved they can balance “emotions and discipline” well.
In his remarks ahead of the upcoming Nations League matches against Czechia and Albania, Sagnol noted that a new project was starting with the upcoming Nations League matches and players needed to concentrate properly.
“I know that the [Georgian] fans are already demanding to qualify for the [FIFA] World Cup, but it's too early to talk about it, because the qualifying stage of the [FIFA] World Cup will start next year. I will tell the players that a new project is starting and they need to concentrate properly. The players of the Georgian national team proved that they can balance emotions and discipline well”, Sagnol said.
The Georgia team will face Czechia at the Mikheil Meskhi Stadium in Tbilisi on September 7 and Albania in an away match scheduled for September 10.
