Lana Morgoshia, the Deputy Justice Minister of Georgia, on Monday said hosting the United Nations Public Service Forum in Georgia was a “major” recognition of the progress and results achieved by the country and its government over the years.

In her interview with Imedi TV, Morgoshia noted that the forum was being held in Georgia for the first time and would bring together nearly 500 representatives from 100 UN member states.

“This is an annual forum and, as mentioned, we are expecting 500 participants from 100 UN member countries. Among them will be high-level delegations, including ministers, primarily justice ministers, and officials responsible for public administration”, Morgoshia said.

According to the Deputy Minister, the forum would run for three days and will feature parallel panel discussions and workshops covering a wide range of topics.

“Alongside the Georgian side, representatives of various countries and international experts will take part in the discussions”, she concluded.
